New Zodiac Dilemma

I vow to start drawing these characters doing something besides sitting (demurely exposing themselves) in profile view. Time for some cartooning practice! And better color compositions! And getting those socks!

This is the first piece in some time to incorporate nearly an entire outfit; if not totally modest, she could at least receive an unexpected delivery man with only a little bit of leering.

Upper-Crust Haiku #1

Gramophone crooning,
Corset ties prove difficult,
Left unsatisfied.

The first haiku illustration, a total mess, but I wish someone could cobble those boots into existence for me.

Finely made merkin,
Slept with the butler again,
I want a pony.

Studio Gallery poster/postcard

Promotional piece for the show "Magic of the Melting Pot: Immigration in America." I had a lot of fun designing this; the show looked great and I got to see my poster hanging around D.C.

Victorian Haiku #2

Marble fireplace,
Perfectly Groomed Beard,
A wench on each knee.

Of course I made sure he thoroughly washed his beard beforehand, but given their state, they probably wouldn't have cared either way.
